Renae Brumbaugh Green
"Why I write...
Since I can remember, I've been having conversations with the imaginary characters in my head. Through writing, I can create worlds. I can play God, as I play with God. And through playing with my Creator, I develop a deeper understanding of who He is. I often learn lessons through my characters' journeys that I've struggled to learn in my own life. Through my characters, I've learned that fear is the opposite of hope, and God is a God of hope (The Reluctant Ranger). I've learned that even when things look hopeless, God has a plan, and it's good (Lone Star Ranger). I've learned that God doesn't need anything we have; He owns it all, anyway. He just wants our hearts (For Love or Money). And I've learned that the little choices we make each day really do impact eternity (The Chosen Heritage)."
Renae Brumbaugh Green is a city-girl-turned-country-diva. She’s married to a handsome country boy named Rick, and she’s mom to four nearly-perfect, nearly-grown children, two rowdy dogs, and some ducks. They live in rural Texas where Renae wears overalls, western boots, and bubblegum pink nail polish. She’s a bestselling author of over 30 books, an award-winning humor columnist, and an online English teacher. In her free time, she can be found leaping tall buildings and rescuing kittens from trees. Or, she’d like to do those things, if she had free time.
