“Why I write...
I write to give expression to those random thoughts and feelings that life inspires. I’m fascinated by the untold stories of history. Writing historical fiction allows me to indulge my love of history and language."
Susan Pope Sloan grew up in a family of storytellers and singers, which fostered her love of words. She’s a member of ACFW, Word Weavers International, and Toastmasters International. She and husband Ricky are lifelong Georgia residents, with three grown children and five grandsons scattered from Alabama to Oklahoma and Michigan. They enjoy visiting historic sites and riding bicycles.
